Stella has designs on Irish wedding

Stella McCartney attends the GQ Magazine Man of the Year Awards in Loncon with her very own man of the year - fiance Alasdhair Willis.

But the designer is remaining coy about rumours that she is planning to get married later this year.

The couple are believed to be tying the knot in Ireland after Stella was spotted checking out the magnificent Ashford Castle Hotel in picturesque Co Mayo.

If she does settle on an Irish setting, Stella will be following in the footsteps of her father, Sir Paul, who wed model Heather Mills at Castle Leslie, County Monaghan, in the Emerald Isle earlier this year.

The 30-year-old Gucci designer was seen trying out the food and meeting with the manager at the magnificent castle.

The couple met at a fashion bash in June last year.

The clever money is on December 8 for the big day - Paul has pulled out of America’s Kennedy Center Honors on the same evening due to a family wedding.
