Lesley Garrett, Will Young and Gareth Gates to perform at BBC Proms

Lesley Garrett and Jose Cura are to headline this year's BBC Prom In The Park in London.

They will be joined by Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Hyde Park on September 14.

The following day will see a special Children's BBC prom, headlined by Will Young and Gareth Gates.

It will be followed by the BBC Blue Planet Prom In The Park in the evening, where audiences will see remarkable pictures from the popular TV series, accompanied by a live performance of George Fenton's score by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Other BBC Prom In The Park events are taking place in Gateshead and Belfast.

The main Prom In The Park will broadcast live on Radio 2 with commentary from Terry Wogan.
