Ozzy misses Irish date

Ozzy Osbourne missed the first ever Irish Ozzfest due to illness.

The Black Sabbath veteran had to pull out of the show at Punchestown Racecourse due to a throat infection.

Fans were offered a full refund on their tickets after being told of Ozzy's absence as they arrived at the venue.

The Irish leg of the Ozzfest tour also featured Tool, System of a Down, Slayer, Drowning Pool and Lostprophets.
