Who says nothing dramatic ever happens in Aussie soap Home And Away?

Or at least, on the beach where it's set? British actress Juliet Aubrey was involved in a near-fatal seaplane crash on Palm Beach near Sydney where the show is made, while on honeymoon just before Christmas.

"We were lucky to get out alive," says Juliet, a BAFTA winner for her performance as Dorothea in the BBC's Middlemarch.

Thankfully, Home And Away wasn't being filmed at the time of the accident.
