McCartney cashes in on Gareth's chart success

Paul McCartney is reportedly to cash in on the success of Gareth Gates by netting more than £1m (€1.6m) from his first record.

The former Beatle will pocket more than the Pop Idol runner-up himself because his company owns the publishing rights to Unchained Melody - the single which is set to take Gates to number one at the weekend.
