Artist uses own blood in new work

Visitors to a gallery’s forthcoming season on body art will be able watch an artist create a new piece of work using her own blood as paint.

The work, entitled Blood Wall Drawing I, will be created by Kira O’Reilly at the Arnolfini gallery in Bristol next month as part of its Marked season, that intends to explore the ways in which artists have worked with their bodies.
