An Irish magician has performed his best trick yet with the help of three Italians, some bolt cutters and a seemingly unlimited supply of ingenuity.
This tale of an four guys breaking out of a carpark is the stuff of Hollywood magic

Brian Daly left his car in the carpark of a Maynooth national school where there was a sign saying it would be closed from 10.50am-1.50pm.

Noting the times, Brian went about his business and returned at 9.15am to collect his car, only to find it locked inside.

After speaking to the Principal Brian discovered the closed carpark was due to a ’board of management directive’ that stated the carpark could not be opened before 4pm.

Not willing to wait around Maynooth for the most part of the day, Brian put his creativity and intelligence to good use in breaking out of the carpark.

In a detailed email written to the Parent teachers association and board of management, Brian retold the exciting tale of his escape from the locked carpark with enthusiasm and perhap a little too much pride in his mischevious behaviour.

Brian explains how he found three Italians who were also locked in the car park and they joined forces in their effort to escape their concrete prison.

The boys went and bought some bolt cutters and a new lock.

While two kept watch, the other two snapped the rusted lock and drove out the entrance gate in order to escape any surveillance.

After escaping the boys put the new lock on the gate and returned the keys to the school secretary.

No harm done.

Brian made three new friends in the form of his Italian brethern. In the email to the board of management Brian wrote: "We still talk occasionally, but only using encrypted whatsapp messages for fear of being under surveillance. We’re lying low for now, but we plan to meet and celebrate our escape once the heat is off."

This guy sound a little paranoid to us, although it could just be layers of sarcasm...

To finish off his epic letter, Brian said: "I’ll finish here by saying a real thank you. Thank you for locking me and those Italian lads in your car park.

Due to you, we now have a friendship forged in the heat of battle. And we all have a story to tell about the day we taught the school a lesson."
