Titanfall multiplayer trailer shows off new capabilities
Pilots have been given some new capabilities; the trailer shows one pull a bit of a switcheroo as a player disappears into thin air only to reappear behind their opponent. Meanwhile, the grappling hook will allow pilots to shoot across the map, use Titans as a launch point, and even grab opponents out of the air.
Meanwhile, the single-player campaign is set to explore the “unique bond between man and machine.” Players will “step on to The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming a Pilot. Stranded behind IMC enemy lines, and against overwhelming odds, you must team up with a veteran Vanguard-class Titan and uphold a mission you were never meant to carry out.”
Respawn boss Vince Zampella has revealed that there will be game modes without AI characters this time around. They populated the multiplayer last time out to make players feel good about themselves, but there will be modes this time around where it will simply be player versus player.
