There was a serious display of lightning over Ireland last night

If you were somehow sick of the lovely blue skies and baking sun that the country has been enjoying the last week, you would have gotten your wish last night as lightning storms rolled in over Ireland.

Dublin was also affected and seemed to get the best view of the display with many residents posting video and photos to social media - including this very cool slow motion video from Woody Murphy.
