Mark your diaries.

For Global Wellness Day on June 11, Kira Walton and the team at Voya will be hosting mindfulness and yoga sessions at Strandhill Beach in Co Sligo, home to the seaweed-based cult product.

Having calmed the mind, there’s a 10,000 Step Challenge for afters.

The thinking behind it?

A gentle walk across the bays of Sligo will help improve the overall sense of mind and body wellbeing.

TRY THIS

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend and at Fota Island Resort they’ve brought the concept to a whole new level.

Les Luneides Gold Ritual lasts a glorious 75 minutes and starts off with a diamond body polish containing real diamonds, glycerin oil and marine salt to help to gently remove dead skin cells.

It’s followed by a milk and honey wrap and finished with a gold cream.

We glimmered the whole night after the treatment and felt like a million dollars.

€120 at www.fotaisland.ie or call 021 488 3700.
