VIDEO: Homefront The Revolution launch trailer

After all kinds of development woes behind the scenes, Homefront the Revolution is here. And it makes for a pretty spectacular launch trailer.

Response to the actual game so far has been fairly mixed - with praise for the gameplay mechanics of taking to the streets as a freedom fighter with limited resources. Reviewers were less interested in the story and the multiplayer co-op element.

You can kind of tell from the quotes that have been chosen here, with careful wording that skirts around actually being hugely positive, and little from major gaming outlets.

It also doesn't help that the game is landing right in the middle of Uncharted 4, Doom and Overwatch, making it all the more unlikely to have an impact.

Homefront the Revolution launches on PC and consoles in Europe on the 20th of May, 2016.
