iPhone 7 Plus tipped to feature dual camera setup

Apple is being tipped to give the iPhone 7 Plus the camera update that many people would be hoping for. It is reportedly going to include a dual camera setup in the iPhone 7 Plus.

iPhone 7 Plus tipped to feature dual camera setup

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that this will be exclusive to the iPhone 7 Plus; the smaller iPhone 7 will feature a standard camera. He says that this is a “must-have feature” for high-end phones, something we’ve seen adopted by some Android smartphone manufacturers.

"In order to maintain its leading position in the high-end market, we expect Apple will fully adopt dual-camera,” he said.

Alongside this dual camera setup, Kuo believes that the iPhone 7 Plus will get 3GB RAM, a step up from the 2GB RAM that was included in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Previous handsets featured just 1GB RAM, which indicates that the iPhone 7 Plus is going to offer some impressive image processing.

We’re likely to hear more over the summer ahead of an official announcement in September.
