We’re well into the 1916 Rising centenary celebrations now - with Lego recreations and thoughtful think pieces vying for space online.

But what if those who participated in the Rising had had access to the social media we available to us today.

Well, some Dublin Transition Year students were wondering just that and have created some pretty plausible examples of what the Rising would have looked like if Snapchat and Facebook were there to document it all.
