Google's Destinations will be your holiday tour guide
The feature is available through mobile searches, letting you get inspiration for trips, find out about potential destinations, and even find flights and hotels.
If you search for “European vacations,” for example, you’ll be presented with a grid of major cities along with details about these destinations. The tool will even give you an idea of how much it’ll cost to get there and the best times of the year to visit.
A Destinations on Google page features two tabs, one about the location and one for details about getting and staying there. The first tab provides additional information about the location, including photos and videos. Conveniently, it also acts as a tour guide of sorts, even going so far as to provide travel itineraries.
The second tab provides details about flights and accommodation, though you’ll still need to visit websites for airlines and hotels to actually book something.
You can get an idea of how the mobile-exclusive feature works in the video below.
