Swede’s dreams are made of this

If, like her, you are an angsty singer-songwriter, a stable personal life means less to write about, because you don’t have a big broken heart.

“When I was younger, it was easy to find inspiration,” says the 35-year-old Swede. “You are a single, you are dating, you meet the wrong guy — he dumps you. You go write a song about it. I’m married now — I have a different life. I still write about love and broken hearts. But I’m looking back, rather than living in the present.”
