¦ My four-month-old baby seems to have a blocked nose. She seems happy and doesn’t have a temperature but I am worried. What should I do?

>> Often called ‘snuffles’, a blocked nose, is very common in babies who like your daughter are under six months old.

Unlike adults, babies breathe in and out through their nose for the first few months. The snuffles are not caused by a cold but by mucus which can collect in the nose and lead to noisy breathing.
