You would think most of my business would be from women, but it’s fifty/fifty. If I’m talking to a prospective male client, they know we’re dealing with emotional issues. When they’re dealing with an investigator about a relationship, they’re going to be emotional, so they’re going to trust a woman to handle the emotion better than a man. In that regard, it’s an advantage to be a woman in this business.

By the time they come to me, they know that their partner is having an affair. They just want evidence. Yes, there’s an element of doubt — am I imagining this? Their partner can’t deny it, if they see a report which has detail like, ‘9:35am, subject met with female in car park.’ No one’s going to argue with that.
