Sex isn’t just for young people with perfect bodies

Q. I’m 58 and have little interest in sex. My husband and I sleep in separate bedrooms and have sex about every second month.

My husband never puts me under pressure about sex. We get on well and enjoy long walks and cinema dates. We have grown-up children who live nearby. My friends jokes about their sex lives and give the impression they have very active sex lives. Am I being lazy about sex?

A. Sexuality is like a journey. We see different things, go to new and familiar places and there is never full certainty. The weather, our own mood and the mood of others will dictate how the journey progresses.
