Lookk at them. With their sunburn and drinking and singing. Making noise. The Scots in Boston and now Miami. Disgusting.

That used to be our job. Being the beloved fans of a major championship — that was Ireland’s thing. At Euro ‘88 and Italia ‘90, we were dotey. With our moustaches and Dingo jeans. A surprise to the world. We’d never been seen in those numbers before, and the world loved us for not knowing any better.
