Considering the county is the birthplace of the modern Irish farmhouse cheese movement, it should come as no surprise that nine Cork cheesemakers were honoured at the recent 2024 Irish Cheese Awards hosted by the ever-splendid CÁIS, the Association of Irish Farmhouse Cheesemakers, in Co Tipperary.
