These were one of the first of the kind in the country and remain unique. No one can enter their own company or their product into the awards and so they are unaware that they have been nominated or shortlisted.

The guild is the sole nominating and decision-making body and as Georgina Campbell, president of the guild says, the decisions are arrived at by a PR system and it’s “all incredibly correct”.
