A hybrid beer, this is a loose combination of traditions from Belgium (dubbel), Ireland (red ale) and the USA (amber).
Brewed with Irish base malt, Belgian speciality malt and American hops and yeast this has a copper colour, aromas of malt, citrus and some red fruit character.
It is pleasingly well-balanced and elegant with complexity, freshness .
