Waterford City Market at Jenkins Lane opened for business on Saturday, June 5 there you will find a colourful range of quality local food produce, hand crafts and bustling atmosphere, it is supported by Waterford City Council. Open every Saturday 10am to 4pm, it is situated at Beach Tower off George's St.

Other thriving new markets springing up around the country are in Dungarvan, Naas, Fermoy and Blackrock Park, Co Dublin.
