Perfectly scrambled eggs are rare indeed. For perfection really fresh free range eggs are essential. I’ve had some positively horrendous concoctions served up for breakfast in some hotels. On one particularly memorable occasion they arrived in a solid mound garnished with a sprig of red currants.
