Located 2km south of Loughill village in County Limerick, and close to Shannon Estuary, a 34-acre holding is new to the market with auctioneer Colm O’Donovan.

Offering a mixture of uses, it’s available in three separate lots or as the entire holding.

“The majority comprises pasture lands currently used for grazing and silage cutting,” says Colm, “with the remaining lands requiring cleaning and some areas suitable for clearing and reseeding.”

A river forms part of the boundary of the lands, providing a natural water source for some sections.

The lots are laid out as follows: Lot A (8 acres); Lot B (15.8 acres); Lot C (10 acres).

There is excellent road frontage and the layout is level, with the N69 nearby.

In addition, parts of the lands could well be suitable for consideration for a residential unit, according to the selling agent. If planning permission could be obtained, this would add another very important aspect to this agricultural holding.

“The lands have an established agricultural use,” adds Colm. “They offer scope for a range of purposes, including grazing and silage production.”

The overall guide price is an attractive €300,000 (€8,800/acre).
