The holding is at Copestown, 7km from Mallow and conveniently just 1km from the main N20 (Limerick-Cork road).

The lots are as follows:

Lot 1 (28.6 acres, one field, all in tillage with limestone land); Lot 2 (71.5 acres, a mixture of tillage and grass); Lot 3 (22 acres, all in grass); Lot 4 (22 acres, a mixture of tillage and grass).

“The property is easy to divide into lots,” says selling agent Liam Mullins. “So if somebody wanted a small parcel of land close to Mallow, there’s that option for them. It’s very centrally located. We have a few farmers interested in it already – both tillage and dairy farmers – so we’re expecting a good level of activity over the coming weeks.

“I would say that it’s more likely to be sold in the individual lots, rather than as a whole, but one can never tell.”

There are no buildings on the lands and no entitlements coming with it.

“It’s just land – good quality and mostly limestone-based,” adds Liam.

As for price expectations, they’re varied according to the levels of quality of the property but should be somewhere between €15,000/acre and €20,000/acre.
