Jack Perry receives Teagasc 2026 Walsh Scholars Gold award

Jack Perry, a PhD student studying aphid management for Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus (BYDV) has won the Teagasc 2026 Walsh Scholar Gold Medal Award for his research work.

Jack Perry, a PhD student in Teagasc’s Crops, Environment and Land Use Programme, has been awarded the 2026 Walsh Scholars Gold Medal.

The Walsh Scholars Gold Medal is the highest honour presented to a postgraduate student within the Teagasc Walsh Scholars Programme.
