Lungworm vigilance needed after mild winter, says Teagasc

Tricks of the trade for dairy beef calves in their first grazing season were revealed by Teagasc DairyBeef 500 advisor Tommy Cox in a recent podcast.
He said calves must be well prepared for grass, some may need concentrates right through the summer, and he explained why slower-acting doses may work better if lungworms become a problem.
