38 acres of grassland near Bandon expecting €15k/acre
The 38-acre holding at Bunanumera is located 200m south of the main road (R586), roughly midway between Ballineen/Enniskeane and Dunmanway.
Another prime piece of grassland is new to the market in the hotspot of the Bandon area of West Cork, for sale with Clonakilty-based auctioneers Hodnett Forde Property Services.
The 38-acre holding at Bunanumera is located 200m south of the main road (R586), roughly midway between Ballineen/Enniskeane and Dunmanway. Bandon is 21km away, Dunmanway is 7km away, and Clonakilty is 17km to the south.
“It’s a lovely bit of ground,” said selling agent John Hodnett.
“It’s currently laid out in pasture and set out in a number of large paddocks with good internal fencing. It has a central farm roadway giving great access to all paddocks.”

The property has been let for a number of years, but it has all the appearances of being well-tended — being used for grazing and silage production.
“It’s located in a very strong farming area,” said John.
“There have been strong enquiries to date — from dairying and drystock interests — it’s not surprising because this is a holding that’s within the budget of a wide range of farmers, and you need only open the gate and walk in.
"There’s also a pumphouse with electricity and water supply is via a deep-bored well," he added.
The price expectation is in the region of €15,000/acre.
