Irish Examiner photographer wins prestigious agricultural award

Dan Linehan's award-winning picture of farmer Pat Talbot looking after his triplet Belgium Blue bull calves born on February 23 on his farm at Aghaoe, Killarney, Co Kerry. The calves were called Bo, Fernando and Luca. 

Irish Examiner chief photographer Dan Linehan's picture of a Kerry farmer and his calves was named Best Photograph at this year's Agri Guild Awards.

Mr Linehan's photograph titled 'Playing the Blues' depicts dairy farmer Pat Talbot with three triplet Belgian Blue calves on his farm in Aghadoe, Co Kerry.
