West Cork farm achieves almost €20k/acre at auction

Guide price was quoted at between €13,000 and €15,000 per acre before the auction

The farm lies just a few kilometres to the east of the large Carbery Group dairy processing plant.

Last featured here on May 24, a 43-acre farm in West Cork was sold at auction last week.

The holding is in the townlands of Derrigra and Gurteenroe, which are less than a kilometre north of the twin villages of Ballineen and Enniskeane.
