As the trade for lamb and hoggets continues to make headlines for breaking records, the fortunes for breeders in 2024 are being likened to a "breeders' paradise" in a dream-like land.
For most of those currently supplying either the factories or selling through the live sales at the marts, they frankly concede that they've seen the trade so buoyant and sometimes pinch themselves to confirm reality.
