Irish farmers in danger of paperwork fatigue

Farmers are well paid for their paperwork, with about €1.4bn delivered to Irish farmers under the new CAP Strategic Plan since last October.

With nitrates rules changing every year or even more frequently, and the main CAP schemes application period coming up, there's a danger of "paperwork" fatigue.

Recently, the ball started rolling again, with applications for direct payments schemes such as BISS, CRISS, Eco-Schemes and ANC opening.
