The Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association has said it is essential there is adequate farmer representation on the review panel.

The Oireachtas agriculture committee met with farm organisations and the minister recently for pre-legislative scrutiny of the Agriculture Appeals (Amendment) Bill 2024. 

This amendment bill relates to the agriculture appeals service available to farmers, and primarily aims to put in place an Agriculture Appeals Review Panel.
