€76.5m for farmers in first ACRES pay run
ACRES advance payments represent 85% of the total scheme year payment, with the balance to be paid in May 2024.
Advance payments for tranche one under the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) are being issued to farmers.
In line with the revised payment schedule published by the Department of Agriculture on December 6, a total of €76.5m is being paid to more than 17,000 ACRES general participants in the coming days.
