Farmers begin receiving balancing payments under Fodder Support Scheme

The 2023 Fodder Support Scheme was a continuance of the 2022 scheme and aimed to incentivise farmers, in particular drystock farmers, to grow more fodder in 2023.

Farmers are beginning to receive balancing payments under the 2023 Fodder Support Scheme.

These payments are worth approximately €18.5m to over 55,000 eligible participants.
