Tirlán confirms milk price for August supplies

Tirlán chairman John Murphy said that inflation, higher interest rates, and ongoing destocking continue to affect buyer behaviour. 

Tirlán has confirmed it will pay a total of 33.08c per litre for August creamery milk supplies at 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein.

The August milk price of 33.08c is down 2.5c from July, and consists of a base price of 32.58c per litre and a sustainability action payment of 0.5c to all qualifying suppliers.
