Signpost: A challenging year of growing against climatic extremes

The story for tillage farmers all year long in 2023 has been the many weather-related challenges, which have meant changes to the way I farm and the crops I grow.

February was the driest on record, followed by March, which was the wettest on record, and June, which was one of the hottest recorded.
