Four Beef Plan meetings coming up in Munster

The Beef Plan Movement is in Munster for the next forthnight, with four public meetings arranged in its quest to engage with over 40,000 farmers throughout Ireland, and to explain and to improve their 86-point plan for redressing shortfalls, obstacles and difficulties confronting Irish beef farmers.

Four Beef Plan meetings coming up in Munster

The Beef Plan Movement is in Munster for the next forthnight, with four public meetings arranged in its quest to engage with over 40,000 farmers throughout Ireland, and to explain and to improve their 86-point plan for redressing shortfalls, obstacles and difficulties confronting Irish beef farmers.

A spokesperson for the Cork Beef Plan Movement said just over 17,000 have already engaged with the initiative, and numbers are steadily increasing.

This round of Munster meetings begins on Thursday, February 21, at 8pm in the Westlodge Hotel, Bantry, Co Cork.

On Friday, February 22, the Beef Plan public meeting is at 7.30pm in the Dingle Mart, Co Kerry.

Meetings continue on Monday, February 25 at 7.30pm in the Iveragh Mart, Cahersiveen, Co Kerry, followed by a Beef Plan public meeting on Thursday, February 28, at 8pm in the Vienna Woods Hotel, Glanmire, Cork.

A spokesperson said the Beef Plan is for all farmers producing beef, whether from the national dairy herd or the national suckler herd.
