Farmers with valuable crops worldwide are using laser systems to keep birds away.

Similar methods are used in the aviation, industry, and real estate sectors.

According to Bird Control Group, based in the Netherlands but operating in more than 76 countries, their laser bird deterrent system can be fully automated for 24/7 bird repelling.

They claim up to 70% bird damage reduction, and fast return on investment.

Orchards, vineyards, and tillage farmers are among those using this environmentally friendly and silent solution.

It is inspired by nature and takes advantage of a bird’s natural instinct, they perceive the approaching laser beam as a physical danger and disperse to seek safety.

Birds don’t get accustomed to the laser bird deterrent, which can be AC-powered or solar energy-powered.

Autonomic versions can be programmed with up to 16 patterns and three operational time-slots, for bird repelling capability at the user’s chosen periods and places.

Handheld versions are also available.

In ideal weather conditions the lasers have a range up to 2500 meters.
