Denis Keohane, Clonakilty, has been elected chairman of the National Ploughing Association, becoming the first chairman from West Cork since 1961 (when Larry Sexton chaired the NPA).

Denis Keohane, Clonakilty, has been elected chairman of the National Ploughing Association, becoming the first chairman from West Cork since 1961 (when Larry Sexton chaired the NPA).

A farmer and contractor, Denis has been involved in ploughing since he was a teenager, and has been a director of the NPA for over 20 years, having served as an officer at all levels. He is a respected national and international ploughing judge.
