Veterinary advice: The cow that defied my heart murmur prognosis

I was on post-mortem duty in my local meat factory, when a few bad hearts came in front of me. They brought me back 30 years, to a sick cow I had attended then.

The cow had a loud murmur in the heart, and what we call a “jugular pulse”.
