Macra news: Offaly man shown to have all the personality

The 12th annual Mr Personality Festival took place at the weekend, hosted by Kilkenny Macra and sponsored by Kilkenny/Carlow and District Farm Relief Services.

Some 31 contestants from all over Ireland travelled to the Marble City for a fun-filled weekend, with Fergal Leonard from Offaly crowned the winner. In second place was Colm Clarke from Mayo and third was Fergus O’Rourke from Leitrim.

On Friday, the contestants were interviewed on stage by former Macra president Matt O’Keeffe before dancing the night away to music from Hot Fuss, followed by a DJ.
