Marts in mourning over the passing of Willie Slyne, a legend among cattlemen

It would be remiss of us, in the business of covering mart reports, if we didn’t mention the recent death of the well known and well respected cattleman, Willie Slyne.

The Aherla-based cattleman was part and parcel of mart life down here in the south for many years.

And Criostoir O’Crualaoi of Ballincollig-based Feoil O’Criostoir Teo, paid this warm tribute to Willie: “It is with a heavy heart that we at Feoil O’Criostoir bid farewell to Willie Slyne.
