€13,000 per acre sought for land in Killarney

A 57.5-acre holding in the townland of Dromdoohig, near Ballyhar in Co Kerry is, according to selling agents Sherry Fitzgerald Coghlan, to be sold in its entirety or in lots by private treaty.

But the Killarney-based auctioneers are not ruling out the possibility of it going to public auction at a later date.

“There are no buildings on the land,” says selling agent Michael Coghlan, who notes there is already an offer on the whole property, for which they seek €750,000 (€13,000/acre).
