Glanbia is close to signing a stand-alone joint venture with US partners to build and operate a new cheese and whey production facility in Michigan, USA.

Glanbia is in advanced talks with Dairy Farmers of America, Michigan Milk Producers Association and Foremost Farms USA.

If the talks conclude as planned, the new facility is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2019.
