ICMSA appoints key board members

Denis Drennan, a dairy farmer based in Maddoxtown, Co Kilkenny, has been elected to the committee, where he will take up the place vacated by his fellow Kilkenny man James Hennessy of Castlecomer, who had completed his maximum six-year term on the committee.
John Skehan of Waterford and Lorcan McCabe of Cavan were both re-elected to the committee for a further term. North Cork’s Maurice Walsh, presenter of Farmer in Charge on RTÉ, has been elected to the board of the John Feely Foundation.
The foundation is the endowment body associated with ICMSA, which was named in honour of the farm organisation’s charismatic 1960s president.
