Satellite inspections are delaying farm payments

Of the 6,500 farms selected for a remote (satellite) sensing inspection, the first instalment of the Basic Payment (BPS) had issued to 5,176 applicants to date, and Areas of Natural Constraints Scheme payments had issued to 3,582 applicants, Agriculture Minister, Michael Creed, has stated.
