Carrigaline Macra na Feirme will host its annual agricultural conference next week in Cork’s Rochestown Park Hotel.

Before the conference, which will begin at 7.30pm next Monday, November 21, there will be an opportunity to meet representatives from a number of agricultural technology and farm companies at an information hub which will kick off at 6pm.

Refreshments will also be served at the event in the hotel’s Estuary Suite

The theme for the conference is ‘Irish Agriculture — at a Crossroads’, and the event will be chaired by Justin McCarthy, editor of the Irish Farmers Journal.

Speakers will include Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed; Aidan Cotter, CEO, Bord Bia; George Lee, RTÉ Correspondent for Agriculture and Environment; Jeanne Kelly, head of communications for Ornua (formerly Irish Dairy Board); and Tadhg Buckley, agri advisor for AIB.

Their presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.

All are welcome.
