Macra Rally to discuss role of young people in farming

A new generation of young people will examine their role in rural Ireland and explore the challenges and opportuities they face in agriculture when they gather in Limerick next weekend for Macra na Feirme’s annual conference.

Macra will host 3,000 members with a programme of activities that comprise an event that is simply known to all in the organisation as ‘The Rally’.

Activities will combine local farm tours, an agricultural conference, and several national competition finals, as well as social events including a fancy dress party and a banquet.
